Storage shelf unit perfect for utility room. I wanted something strong and adjustable to hold a 22" refrigerator. It was relatively easy to put together, I just measured 24" for the next to the bottom shelf and arranged the rest of the shelves to my liking. Besides the refrigerator, it holds seldom used pots, pans, dishes, etc. and seasonal items. My cousin really liked it, he is going to buy a few for his basement. I paid $74 for this unit.

Adequate instructions and a very sturdy shelf. If you do make a mistake, which I did regarding the direction of the little slots to hold the shelves when connecting the extensions for the corner posts,it is easy fixed using a screwdriver in the slot an just banging it with the rubber mallet. The entire unit is VERY sturdy. I'm using mine for pantry storage in my basement and it can really hold lots of everything (canned goods, broths, you name it). And, the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Not the absolute sturdiest I've bought but very good. I feel confident these can hold the weight indicated. They go together extremely easy and quicky. They do seem a little flimsy when first starting to assemble but once done they are very sturdy. The only downside with Muscle Rack products is you have to make sure you're buying the quality ones and not the cheap flimsy crap they also make. I reviewed those as well right after I sent them back. The particleboard is a potential weak point and I will update if I encounter any negative issues. I would avoid using the particleboard shelves in damp areas as more then likely particleboard would sag.

I bought two of these for my garage. The first one was a bit hard to follow the directions but once I got it started, it was very easy. I got the second one put together 1/2 hour. The shelving is very sturdy and I am very pleased with this purchase.

The shelf sawdust boards are very weak, I broke one just by lifting it around. There's no way it can support 200 lbs of items per shelf, it will be broken. The metal frame was hard to assemble due to sloppy manufacturing, nearly impossible to line up correctly without force warping some of them with tools. I recommend buying the type of shelving with metal wire instead. IF you want to use this for heavy items, you'll probably want to replace the sawdust boards with plywood boards, because really once you force the metal frame to assemble, it is pretty sturdy, it just need better boards.

I loved that the shelves arrived promptly! This was after I had patiently waited two months on a previous vendor for the same shelves. They are easy to assemble, the metal frames appear strong and sturdy, the flimsy flakeboard is very thin and probably won't hold up to the weight it advertises, but even with that, I had one big problem, there were only two of the needed four post connectors in the boxes! I ordered five of these shelves but now I can only put two of them completely together! So far, my attempts to contact the vendor are unsuccessful. I would understand an occasional oversight of someone packing the box incorrectly, but this many times? I will gladly edit this review if I can get this one issue settled.

My husband and I have looked into redoing aka cleaning out garage . We have had the WALL of crates for many years now and we just ignore it and move on. My husband has researched DIY shelves ... plastic shelves.. and metal. I have always objected like a wife does because of the cost to build or purchase any shelving units because I could name a million other things we could spend the money on. He finally found these and order them. It only took him one day and they were up and perfect. They are super sturdy and work perfect. SO any couples that need a garage makeover to store all the junk over the years... these are going to be your best friend!!!

I love this shelving unit. It’s big and sturdy. I just use it to attempt to tame the clutter in my garage and it’s perfect for that. I put it together mostly on my own and I’m 5’7, 125 lb female. It was a little tricky getting started but I had my 9 year old daughter hold a part to connect the bottom and then I was on my way. The solid bottom to the shelves is very nice. I much prefer that over just wire shelves.
