Excellent piece of kit.The first thing I cooked in this was a 1.5 inch thick large sirloin steak and chips.I was very sceptical as have never owned or used one before..but I did my research!We'll get back to that in a minute.The reason I got this particular airfryer was because it was chosen as no1 on American test kitchen,so I bit the bullet so to speak.I got the instant vortex 6 in 1 plus 6quart 5.7L.I thought it would cost more but was pleasantly surprised, rather cheap for what I got.It looks pricy,feels pricy and is a solid unit that overall looks great.Back to my steak..my hubby thinks I make the best steak ever,so when I said I was doing it in the airfryer for his birthday he scoffed.My lord,the fat was crispy,the steak had an amazing sear,and this steak was huge.Cooked on highest heat 6mins either side and boom the perfect medium rare.I dried the steak,rubbed all over with a little oil and salt and bunged it in.My hubby said he'd eat his words and said he now wants all his steak done in the airfryer.While the steak rested I threw in the chips with all the juices.WOW WOW.Where has it been all my life.The interface is so simple to use and easy to understand, the basket itself and the thing inside it washed up in 5mins,so simple,one drawer dinner in 20mins.The chips were crunchy and fluffy on the inside, couldn't recommend more.Doing lamb chops tonight, but I'm confident.Watch u tube videos, lot's of them,do your research.I've read reviews of people slamming airfryers simply because they don't know how to use it..I'm 57,if I can learn so can you..I had fun,it got me interested in cooking again.I love this machine and highly recommend you get yourself one.Also whenever you pull out the drawer to check on your food it pauses and starts again where it left off.Also reminds you to turn your food halfway through the cooking time, which if your forgetful is a game changer.You can turn of the beeps and also change temp° from c to f.I have also just made mini steamed spotted dicks on 165° on airfry with enough water in the bottom to just touch the drip tray, came out perfectly steamed in 30mins.Play with it..learn about it and just have 😁 fun!

First off, I am coming to this model from an early phillips air fryer. That model was a bit smaller in exterior sizing and a lot smaller when comparing the interior size of the basket itself.In comparison, the basket of the Instant Pot model is really easy to clean and keep cleaned. The interior of the basket has a non-stick surface, and on top of it sits a removable drip tray which is also non-stick. Having now used the machine for a few months, I can say that it is quick and easy to remove said drip tray and wash it after every use (where residue requires it) and that the basket itself is quick to wash down when required.It is very nicely sized, and can easily fit a large chicken smaller casserole dishes and the like. It is quite deep, and has a nice large and useful square shape.The controls are simple enough if you are accustomed to electronic gadgets. It may be slightly more complicated if you are not so confident with electronics, but I would say that the controls are fairly well labeled and that their functions are fairly obvious on first glance.All in all, I am very impressed.

I would have preferred to get a few guides/recipes with it rather than having to go online. It's a bit hit and miss initially, e.g. is fresh pizza bake or airfry? It is incredibly quick and I can see it will be in daily use and saving power is a big plus. Ideal for a one person household.
