Great player for the money.
For the functionality and price and quality, a great purchase for the money. Playback is flawless and uses HDMI connectivity. Remote is easy to use and the unit is very easy to set up.

Just a good old school DVD player bought 2 different ones before this and they were junk I think the Sony is a proven product and works well

Compact and easy to set up
Easy set up. For such a small, uncomplicated DVD player, the remote has a lot going on. It came with Audio/Video, but NO HDMI cable as shown in Amazon.

Player works fine until Sony's remotes don't work
The player I received works fine although don't understand why it is the same model of my other DVD player that plays blue tooth and this one doesn't. My other player stopped responding to the remote, thought something wrong with the player so I bought this one. My old player responds to the new remote; after reading other reviews this is a common problem. So the new player is ok until something goes wrong with the remote -a Sony problem.

Functionality
This is the third DVD player I've bought in a very short period of time, the other 2 went to Goodwill. This one worked perfectly right out of the box, in all respects. It was easy to hook up, the remote paired automatically and is easy to use. I can recommend this device if you want to watch DVDs on your TV rather than on your PC.
