The only issue I have with these, is that they stink quite a bit for the first day or so. Kind of an acrid chemical smell. But....and here's what's important: they drop my temperature by another 10 degrees F easily. That's the important thing and that's why I am a fan.As for the reviewers who say they are difficult to cut. I used kitchen shears and did not have any issues at all.

I almost bought a synthetic type cooler pad to replace the rigid fiber board one that came with my cooler, but then I read the reviews on these Aspen pads. Aspen pads have been around as long as I can remember and for a long time were about the only choice for cooler pads. I think we are somewhat conditioned to see something made out of a more modern material and automatically think it must be superior to whatever old-fashioned thing it replaced - not the case here. Based on the reviews for this pad, I decided to go with the Aspen pads and I can honestly say that it works better than the rigid fiber board pad that came with the unit. I guess technological advancements can't improve everything.

We use this for our cooler that takes 36" x 32" pads, we always double up the pads on cooler because it works better in our cooler that way, so this is the most economical way we have found to do that. We use hedge trimmer shears to cute the pad, works great and fast. We get 2 years for sure out of the pads.

Shipped quickly. Product appears to be good quality. Cut and fit cooler nicely. Some waste for me because of width but still more economical than buying precut pads.
