I purchased the Gaswei G1 Pro Two Way Radios as an additional way of staying in contact when discovering what nature has to offer. On a recent hike I wanted to test the range of the radios and was more than pleased with the result. The terrain was hilly and well forested but I was able to keep in contact with "camp" as I explored the surrounding wilderness. As with any radio, geography has a lot to do with transmission and reception but I was happy with the signal strength and clarity as I wandered about the area.The build quality of the radios is very good and are fairly well ruggedized. All of the controls are simple to use and it only takes a few minutes to become familiarized with the basics so you are able to be up and running within minutes of unboxing. I do however encourage you to read the manual as there are some nice features and modes that you should familiarize yourself with.The radios have a headphone jack and a separate USB charging port so you are not reliant on the base charger which is quite convenient when you are on the go. Also, with an IP67 raring, you should be good to use in most weather conditions encountered. The radios come with belt clips but I would like to find a holster or cover with a carabineer attachment.These radios are affordably priced with very decent build quality along with most all of the features you might want which makes the Gaswei G1 Pro Two Way Radios a product I can certainly recommend.

These work great! I gave one to my parents and we were in separate vehicles on the highway for 5 hours and this is much easier than using a cell phone each time you want to communicate. Very worth the price. AND the battery life is great too!

These work much much better than the other two brands I tried. These hold a charge longer than those.

A friend and I used this while taking different hikes in the Panhandle of Texas. That kept us in touch, even though we headed different directions. We used it only when no major obstructions were present and it worked perfectly. I don't know how obstructions would affect the reception. I'll have to try it. Right now, I am very please with this product.

This are the worst radios I ever bought in my life I bought them because the Price was ok and the specs looked good on paper, they don't have more than 200 meters of range even with little obstruction, don not buy them, they don't work it bought them because I saw some guys in youtube with some acceptable reviews, but they were send by this company, I tried different frequency and privacy channels, hi, low frequency all of the things you can do with the configuration menu, this are equine proceed food, if you know what I mean. we'll don't be scamed folks, this are for your kids to play in the house nothing more.
