Happy
Came a little banged up. Very miner repair with wood glue fixed right up in 10 min or so not including dry time, no big deal. More likely shipping company’s fault. Product is great and provides excellent support.

Overpriced junk! Looks nothing like the advertisement
King foundation is made from cheap white wood not “spruce” as stated on the website. It came with splits and cracks all over, one of the slats is stapled to the cloth shifted to one side and all the spacing is around 3” causing there to be a gap in the center of the bed that appears to need another board. However, upon inspecting the instructions there seems to be the same number of boards, so I’m assuming it’s my job to pull every stable out of the fabric and make necessary changes. And I paid $300 for this crap?!?! Oh how about the elephant in the room... has anyone looked at the corners of the foundation and then looked at the advertisement????? Why is there a beefy corner brace with wingnuts in the advertisement, yet this cheaply made frame doesn’t have that. And America wonders why we keep outsourcing to other countries. I’m more than annoyed and frustrated with this. I am a woodworker and even wanted to build this myself, but with a baby on the way and moving into our new house I ordered this to work with our new bed frame, and now I’m stuck either trying to repair a $300 Piece of junk or hopefully get a solid replacement from the company. I already left a voicemail and will be following up in the morning. Needless to say, this is the last product I buy from this company and I will never recommend them to anyone because of the lack of quality and transparency. Absolutely disgusting and deceiving.

Cheap materials for the price...
It's not a big deal to me that the wood for these foundations isn't finished, etc. - that will be true for all foundations and box springs. That said, one of the major support pieces for our ghostbed foundation did have a sizable crack. Not a big enough concern for me to return it, but a bit lame for a new product. The "predrilled" holes were inconsistent - sometimes not present, sometimes not in the appropriate place. DO DRILL NEW HOLES with a small bit if necessary - the wood has a high likelihood of cracking if you don't.The cover is just meh. It does not cover the bottom of the foundation (so if you have a cat, he's got a new playhouse). Also, the sides of the foundation are "open", which means the cover feels baggy and cheap in these areas.Ultimately, if this came put together, I could see paying $200 for it. But as is, with its mediocre quality, I would say this is worth more like $100-125. There are other foundations on Amazon for around that price - the issue for us was the spacing of the slats for a memory foam mattress.Putting it together really isn't that hard, but a drill (power screwdriver) is a must.

Quality Issues - purchase directly from GhostBed
The media could not be loaded. I bought this frame knowing it was a bit more expensive, but that it was designed for memory foam mattresses. I had read reviews of other foundations using cheap wood so I figured GhostBed would be a reputable company with high build quality.I had some issues purchasing through Amazon and received two broken foundations. I finally reached out on Facebook and they had the founder of the company call me and the arranged to have a new foundation sent to me. I found it pretty easy to put together with two people and after sleeping on it for a few months I am more than satisfied. It is solid and I no longer have the bounce of the box spring which seems to take away from the experience of the mattress.I would just try to purchase it directly from GhostBed, I am pretty sure Amazon sent me two frames that were previously returned.

Great foundation for an excellent mattress.
Works perfectly with my GhostBed mattress, which I love.It is super sturdy. The nice-looking cover, which coordinates with the mattress, goes over the top and around the sides, but not under the bottom of the foundation. It requires two people for assembly. It goes together pretty easily and fairly quickly if you have an electric screwdriver; not so easily if you don't.I'm not sure why it's called "knockdown." It would be pretty difficult to take it apart.Watch out for splinters! The box it comes in is very heavy!

Easy, One Tool Assembly In About An Hour!!!
Wow, what a great product.! After reading previous reviews, I ordered the product to serve as a foundation for a new Casper mattress. I expected difficulty in assembly, but found that this knockdown foundation to be just the opposite. Using only a power screwdriver, I was able to follow the easy instructions to build the product in my family room in a little over an hour. Everything is provided, and there's no need to measure or cut anything. I love the finished product, and am thrilled with the sturdiness and appearance of this foundation. Highly recommended!

Poor Quality Assembly
Arrived broken. Then too, I noticed the framing had been hastily stapled together. Staples were not fully sunken. Staples placed on fabric straps for topping looked like a chimp did the job. Nothing done with any care and the staples themselves were not deep/ strong enough. Returning mine. Waste of time having to haul the large thing back to a return center!

Easy to assemble
Although inspection said no cracks. There were multiple cracks in the slabs. Easy to assemble. Nice neutral color cover.

Ghostbed foundation worth it!
I replaced a metal frame with this wooden one a couple month ago. The metal one I bought from amazon too, but creaked all night ! This wood one is lower, and silent! I would never switch back!

Don’t bother with this garbage!
Almost 3 weeks for delivery and the product is poor quality. Bought a better equivalent from Ikea and will now try to return this garbage.
