The product was very easy to install. The threads have a lot of tolerance so you may want to use a decent amount of water seal tape. It comes with it in a small roll. You may want to buy another roll in your local hardware store, but the one it came with barely was enough on how loose the tolerance was on my shower pipes, although tolerances may vary for your shower pipe, but I was glad it wasn’t difficult to twist into my shower head and pipe. I already had a shower head, so I didn’t use the one it came with.The product works as advertised. I live in Las Vegas, NV, and our water is very hard. You can see lime scale build up and those nasty black and pink bacterial growth in your toilet bowl. First time use, I could already feel the smoothness of the water through my hair. I have long hair, so I could feel it was easier to comb my hair in the shower. Prior to the filtration, my comb would sometimes get stuck through my hair. There was a certain hardness prior, but now I could feel the softness of the water. The softness isn’t as exaggerated like a salt-based water softener, but you can definitely feel that it wasn’t hard anymore at least with our municipal water. With how inexpensive the filter replacements are, I bought a 3 pack. If haven’t thought about buying a full home water filtration system yet, and want to have a very healthy shower experience, I recommend this product very much. My spouse has thinning hair due to the harshness of our water, only time will tell if my spouses scalp gets healthy enough to get a fuller set of hair. My spouse was happy the first time showering with it as the difference was felt.I should have bought this years ago.

My review is based on install only and short term use- have yet to use it long term.I have to say, the VERY 1st day my boyfriend used this, he went to work on the lumber yard... the guys didn't know anything about a new shower head and apparently he got jazzed up by everyone saying things like "Man you look like you actually showered yoself this morning, what happened?" And "did you take a bath or somethin' you look clean as hell" - which is insane. 😅I have 0 leaks. Followed instructions. Clear silicone gaskets are for the filter portion. Black gaskets are if you take out the flow regulator. The instructions didn't make that clear.They provided plenty of plumbers tape to get the job done. No tools were required. I did it on my own and turned on the shower head to reveal no leaks and all of the sprayer holes work! It didn't change my water pressure at all from my previous shower head. But I did decide to swap to the 2g optional regulator just because I wanted to.Note: the showerhead is made up of plastic, not metal, but it seems high quality enough and isn't leaking so I'm not worried about it at this point in time. Again, have not used it long term yet

I have to say that I was in complete shock with the night and day difference this has done for my skin and scalp.4 years ago I moved to Connecticut, and unfortunately, in Connecticut there is very hard water that completely dries the skin and scalp. It was too the point that I was spending so much money on lotions, moisturizing body washes, face creams and scalp treatments.A friend happened to tell me about shower filters, up until then, I've never heard of such a thing. But it does make sense, we use filters for our cars, for drinking water, for our HVAC systems, and so many other things! So why not for our shower or home?So when this arrived, I installed it right away, very simple dummy proof installation. Simple twist and that's it. I recommend definitely using the plumbers tape it came with.I immediately showered and did not put any lotion on my body or scalp, only my face. Usually after less than 30 minutes from leaving the bathroom after a shower, I start feeling my skin drying up and becoming itchy, especially my scalp... Well, I can honestly say that it didn't happen, my skin did not dry out for the first time since buying my house.After close to a month of use, my skin is 100 percent better! No more itchy skin, irritated skin, my scalp feels normal, and the hair loss due to dry scalp is gone!This thing is such an amazing value for the money, perfect fit, the flow of water is perfect, this thing works so well that it blew away my 12 inch rain shower head! It's made out of fine plastic, it doesn't feel cheap at all.What I love is that the replacement filters aren't expensive at all. This was truly a real investment in my self-care!Don't hesitate, get one and you will be blown away by the difference in your skin. Plus it feels great saving money on very expensive moisturizers, lotions and body washers.

So I just received the item… I was too excited to take a shower and it has only been ONE shower but I did notice that during the water felt softer? It didn’t feel as heavy if that makes sense. Once I was out and put lotion and all that jazz I can say my skin and hair feel better, happier if you will. I will update if I change my mind but overall I’m so satisfied with this new shower head! I want to test it and probably will as soon as I find my testing kit .Aside from that the installation itself was fairly simple. I followed the instructions given and also bought the extending pipe (from another brand here on Amazon) because the 8” shower head didn’t have that option. Love love love my shower head 😊

We have really hard well water and our faucets and shower heads get clogged up with all the minerals in the water. I purchased this for my kids bathroom as I have a Jolie showerhead in mine and it did not disappoint. My teens said it was an amazing showerhead 😊 I got the 8” square, it is well made, we also installed it without the restricters to allow for a better water flow. Today was the first use, so I cannot speak on if it will last or end up getting clogged like our prior shower heads. To be continued!
