I am not a professional security system technician. But I have tested, reviewed, installed many, and have a pretty good complex one for myself. This multi-function test meter has a multitude of test functions that a professional tech would use, and someone like me has used several functions to display many interesting things about cameras and systems. It has a 5.4''color IPS touch screen, 1920x1152 resolution which is very nice to view and is very responsive. This is also a very high quality test rig that comes in a hard shell storage and travel case that houses the main unit and all test connection accessories which there are a lot of. This equipment is way more sophisticated in test operations than one can address within a short review to talk about individually. So, it is best to just say that this is a very high quality test set of professional grade which a professional would know what all the functions are and what this can do. Very good unit.

This was a lifesaver during an install with 30 cameras and over a mile of cable.HOWEVER, the one function I needed secondarily was cable testing and tracing. After a short while, the device will stop generating the tone, and requires a reboot to resolve until it stops generating again. I have contacted the manufacturer twice but there is no response. I cannot rate this more than two states due to the issues and lack of support to resolve them for such a costly product.
