Pro-Tec Athletics Knee Patellar Tendon Strap (Small), Black

I've suffered on and off for years with exercise-induced knee pain which meant that several times each year I had to avoid any kind of impact training. Even getting up and down stairs became painful. I finally tried a patella strap a few years ago by Nike and it worked really well but was quite bulky and was consequently a little uncomfortable. After plenty of research, I decided to try this band and it's fantastic. Lightweight, comfortable, incredibly durable and very effective. My main exercise routine is circuit/ interval training so my knee gets a lot of varied range of movement and this thing really stays in place without me having to tighten it too much.One minor thing to note is that it stretches during the first month or so of use (I was using it 4 times per week for an hour at a time). I found that the stretch band across the back of the knee stretched by around 1/2 inch to 1 inch. I found that the size guide is very accurate based on the unstretched length, but bear this in mind when you order if you are close to the border between 2 sizes.

I did not realize this is a no return item do I was upset because I needed these for my 15 year olds knees/medical condition. The strap is great quality but the sizing is off. I measured and bought the small. She is 4 feet 11 inches and 100 pounds. They would not fit her properly. Luckily Amazon returned my money. I found the product at Big 5 where you can take it out of the package. So try that. Also ended up buying an amazing knee brace. That company stands by their product and has a great return policy... but the product was so great I didn't have to return or complain. 3 stars for knee strap. Minus 2 stars for return and lack of service.

Low quality elastic material imported apparently from Taiwan.You'll be depending on the material only for tightness because the elastic is of very low quality and durability.Otherwise, what I did was order the smallest one that fit, and, pull it as tight as I could to get the support I needed.That's why it got two stars and not one star.Also, in its useful but failed state, it kept me out of pain and walking.

I have runner's knee and I've been told this knee strap would be a good solution. It's ok. I have only used it about 5 times and about 3 times out of those runs, I didn't feel any discomfort in my knee. But the other few times, I did. The biggest issue I have with it is the size. I ordered medium and it was TINY. Who was that made for? A baby? Thank goodness for Amazon's quick return/replacement actions that I didn't have to wait long for XL. Be aware of the size if you choose to order.

The quality of the material is good but the sizing is off. I bought the small for my son who is 12 years old and 5' tall and suffers from Osgood-Shlatter but it did not fit around his knee! Very disappointed that I was not able to return it. I don't remember there being a warning of "non-returnable".

I bought this for my daughter for he jumpers knee. its the one her Dr told us to get. it really doesn't fit comfortable, so it works that well . she has tried it a few times but no luck. its soft and pulls tight but it doesn't work for her. not so sure its the product because she a teen and using it. so that's why a gave it 3 stars

I originally bought the medium size of this strap and it worked great the first couple of times (to help prevent Runner's Knee) but subsequent use stretched the strap to the point where half of the inner "tube" was actually part of the excess strap when tightened. I ordered a small and it works great! I wear it every time I run and since doing so and making sure to ice my knee for ten minutes after each run (about 2 miles every other day) regardless of how it feels, I have not had a recurrence of the horrible pain that is Runner's Knee! Make sure to measure the area directly below the kneecap, (the circumference that the strap will actually be worn on).

The product itself is okay but seems to run very small. I am normally a small in everything and even based on the measurements that had listed the small was far to small for me. The reason I am giving a 3 stars is because you are unable to return the item which is ridiculous.

I would never have guessed that this simple band could have saved my training schedule like it did. I love that it comes in the small size and is easy to adjust. For it me, it is a definite buy.
