For the most part - these have worked for me - and even if I do wake up in the middle of the night, I have been able to go right back to sleep. A few nights, not so much, but then I may have had too much caffeine in my system ( which I usually try to avoid anyway). Yes, they are pretty smelly, but I am able to get them down pretty quickly without too much smell affecting me. Also, the plus is there is no residual feeling the next day. Just feeling rested.!!!

Okay. Was hoping for more effective long-term results for nightly insomnia. Worked great once, after that it hasn't been effective. No doubt effectiveness depends on each person's cause for insomnia.

It smells awful and I am not sure why. Even though it was expensive I am afraid to take it again because it smells so bad that it could mean there is something wrong with it.

These smell really awful! I tried taking it a few times, but it seems to upset my stomach and I really can't get past the smell.
